Update

Bethani is doing good. They are still working on the pain (which is a normal process). Family is remaining at her side. She is still in ICU. Your prayers, food for the family, comments (they read all of them), and love offerings are GREATLY appreciated. Thank you for everything!

Make sure you haul the WiFi to the ICU bedside, assuming they don't clothesline you at the door for looking all uppity with Toshiba Sattelite in your hands. You'd never thought get-well cards could weigh enough to fracture a limb, did you?

Maybe they won't let you take it in there. Tell Brian that I said Laptops are routinely getting easier to smuggle in one's trousers. And that I know he's got the poker face to do it.

Just kidding. It's quiet time for me now. God bless you all!

Who ever came up with this blog had a great idea, the pony express gets tired half way across the country so it takes a while to find out what is happening! Our prayers are with you all!

Praise God! We are continuing to pray for Bethani, and especially her comfort. Thank you so much for setting up this update site, because I was calling our church (and everyone else) every little bit to try to get updates. You and your whole family has not left my thoughts for a moment since we found out, and you won't until you are home. Wyatt is SUCH A DOLL, and Sam and I just love his name.

With MUCH love and prayers,
Sam & Sharla Ogden

So happy to hear that Bethani is recovering - such a brave and strong lady! Stronger with God, family, and an amazing amount of praying friends. After prayer last night, I went in search of some special photo albums I had stored from my younger days. I found pictures of my time spent with the Bishop family some included one special trip to Redding to visit Saprina. On that trip we all went out to Shasta Lake for some waterskiing (I think I drank half the lake and didn't get up on skis once) and lots of giggles (we were girls afterall - Bro. & Sis Bishop were so patient!!). The entire Bishop family is so incredible and lead by example. Denise, Saprina and Bethani you are beautiful inside and out and you are fine examples of Bro and Sis. Bishop's love for God, family, friends, and all things good. Bethani you were born to make a Godly impact on everyone you meet and God will always take care of you.
Get better soon!
Lots of love to you all.

To all in the UC San Fran waiting room-
I'm just stopping by for my hourly update. Thank you so much for them. Every time I refresh my computer screen, I think of all of you and what you must be going through. I'm sure every emotion imaginable has flowed through that waiting room. But I hope our love & prayers have brought strength and peace to you as well.

To Saprina-
It has taken everything in my power not to pick up my cell and call you. I miss you and love you and hope to hear from you soon! I hope you were able to give Bethani that hug from me. :)
