Recovery Update

Bethani is out of ICU. She has been transferred to a regular room. She is doing good. A team of 9 doctors came to see her this morning. They are planning on getting her out of bed to walk today. They are still working on regulating her medications, so her pain level is still high at times.

She is looking forward to the time when she is able to read all the blog comments. The family has been telling her about them. Thank you for your outpouring of love. It is overwhelming to Brian and the entire family.

Only nine doctors? Tell those other two that there's a precocious third-grade picture waiting in the hall to talk to them. And my immenseness is all right there in the avatar--in black and white.

Just kidding.

This is awesome news. Men's Conference starts tomorrow. I'll comandeer the pulpit and make sure the prayers go up from there.

WOOHOO! Go, Bethani! You do your walk, Girl... I still remember my first year of Youth Convention. The words of Bethani Bishop whispered in our ears:

"Ok, girls- stand with your feet together. Walk with grace. Don't trip over anything. When we walk in there, people will know it's The Redding Girls."

Look out UCSF Hospital! When she walks down that hallway, you'll know it's the one and only "BETHANI ROAM".

Love you, Girlie!

To the Roam/Bishop families:
I know most of you don't know me, so I'll clarify. I grew up in Mo. with Bob, Jim and Diane Roam, and Bro. Bishop knows my brother(Jerry Pruett). I believe Brian and Bethani know my daughter and her husband, Elton & SoShawna (Foster)Gray.
Everyone involved with my family(the Pruetts, Royers, Grays, etc.), has been praying and thanking God! He knows exactly what he is doing, and the "why" for all of this! Proverbs 3:5&6 is a good scripture for you at this very stressful time of your lives. Will continue praying,
Anna(Pruett)Foster.

AWESOME NEWS !!!! I can't hardly wait to get home every day to see the update. I'm so glad Bethani is doing so well.

Are they saying how much longer she will be in the Hospital? I've got so many questions, but I'll try to settle for just knowing when she'll be released.

Still praying daily for a quick and complete recovery.

I Love you All so much, Cori Eells :)

So happy to hear the good news. Aren't we glad when the day brakes and where there was darkness now there is light. I know you are all so relieved. Our prayers are still with you for a speedy recovery. God Bless you Bethani and Brian, and the Bishop and Roam familes. Family is more than people related to each other. It's people joined by shared memories and hopes. It's people drawn together by caring and concern... Thank God for families!

Prayer is a powerful tool because we talk directly to the Creator who is more concerned about our situation than we are.

We will continue praying for you guys...

Nine Doctors? Now that's pretty impressive wouldn't you say? Sounds like they pulled out the red carpet for the Princes!

Bethani I'm so thrilled and excited to hear of your great recovery. Sounds like you've got their heads turning. You go girl!

Brian your smile never ceases to amaze me. Keep holdin' on a little longer, complete miracles are on their way. God will provide and work it all to your good, can't wait to hear the reports of how God turned this situation around for you. ALL THINGS work for our good...what the enemy meant for harm, the great God we serve turns it around so you benefit and HE receives the glory!

Little Wyatt is a cutie pie and I know you're so proud of him! Bet he doesn't get enough hugs and kisses, yeah right!

The updates are wonderful, what would we do without technology? We'd probably pace the floors and bite a lot of fingernails(ugh).

Ya'll are continually in my thoughts and daily prayer. This is a testimony none of us will forget!

Get ready, HE'S about to blow your mind with miracles you never thought possible...

Love ya'll

We are so glad to continue to hear only wonderful things on your recovery. We need all the truly Godly women in this world as we can get, and Bethani, I have always thought that you are one of the sweetest, most graceful, beautiful (inside and out) and Godly women I know. Wyatt couldn't ask for better parents!!! Like Sam and I used to always tell you "You are the best looking couple", and we meant not only your looks but EVERYTHING about you guys is wonderful! We miss you guys so much, and cannot wait to see you again soon. We would love to come see you in the hospital, but do not want to intrude so we will continue to check this blog several times a day to hear all the miracles to come - including your medical coverage miracle that we are claiming in Jesus Name!!!!
