Update

Bethani is now in surgery! The doctors came and greeted the family (including little Wyatt) then wheeled Bethani by the family for them to see her. Brian can stay with her through the prep. The transplant team will consist of eleven doctors and the surgery will take five to seven hours.

Lord Jesus, I ask you to be with Bethani and guide the surgeons' hands. Bring complete healing and a quick recovery. Be with her husband Brian and their child. Comfort them and help them through this trial. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

Brian, I pray you will continue to trust God and allow him to carry you through this.

Dear Brian, Bethani, & Wyatt,

Since last week we've been praying for you, more fervently everyday. I've been staying updated through Saprina and my mom passing it along to Tom and Naomi. We love you so much and our prayers go out to you. Even Caleb has been thinking of you and praying for you. Yesterday after hearing all the calls regarding you, Caleb asked why you were so sick and in the hospital. Worried he said, "She is a mommy. Mommies shouldn't be in hospitals only old people." With a smile and tears welling I tried to explain that we didn't know why you were so sick but that God was watching over you and telling the doctors what to do to get you better again. As soon as he heard God was involved the concern left his face and he went back to playing with his spiderman and antagonizing Dillon. I don't think Rich and I will stop being concerned until we hear that you are at home with Brian and Wyatt. Our family and your church family won't stop praying till then either.

With all our Love and Prayers,
Rich, Crystal, Caleb & baby Dill
