Report from Bethani

"I'm eating pancakes and bacon. I slept through the night only getting up once. My vital signs are good. Blood pressure too. My coloring is more normal. Every step is BIG to me. God has been so good to me. I know there is a reason."

She is so excited to have her appetite back. She is holding Wyatt for a few minutes at a time. Bethani is overwhelmed by the love and support she is receiving. Thank you for your continued prayer, love and financial support!

We love you, and what a treat to hear from YOU!! We will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers. Get lots of rest, and as a mom I know that the best medicine for me would be holding, kissing, hugging and just being with my kids and husband! So I think your recovery is going to go even faster now that your home!! To God be the glory for all the things he has done!!!!

Oh yummy! The pancakes and bacon sounded good! Well your package is on the way. I sent it to the P.O. Box there in Redding. Enjoy the sour stuff...hopefully you are still into the sour things by the time it gets there from Texas. Once you feel pretty again, have someone post some pictures of you with your hubby and baby on here so we can "see" you!
I love you girl!

Well you have two more things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. A new baby boy and Bethani's life that was spared in the nick of time. We never know what a year will bring us, but we do know WHO will bring us through.

Rejoicing with you this Holiday Season.

Bro. Mullins kept going on and on about how much he missed you at Men's conference. I thought I saw him leaving, then somebody stepped on his fingers.

Bethani and Brian,

We just knew from the moment we heard about your need for a miracle that God would come through for you. We thank God he truly has! The church in Dinuba has been in prayer from the moment we heard and knew that God would supply your need whatever way he chose.

We are thrilled and excited that you are doing so well. We have also prayed for your families as we know this was a very stressfull and fearful time for all of you. Thank God for this miracle. Our family and church send their love.

I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, that you got to eat all you wanted, and I pray you have restful night with sweet dreams. Since Ron isn't a girl, I'll say it - "You go, gurl!"

Doofus said...

Just to be on the safe side, I had my "non-girlness" confirmed by consulting this book by some social wiseacre named Emily Post. Granted, she never addressed my concerns directly, I just sort of had to "catch a clue" as they say in the hood where I grew up. (A shout out to Spanky and Weezer!)

Besides, I can't find a hat that complements my picture-esque dome like Jana.

Hey Ron, easy on my hat - I paid alot of money for it at Cracker Barrel Restaurant. LOL

Bethani - I hope Ron's humor hasn't loosened any of your stitches. Get a pillow to hold over your middle when you read his comments. One good thing, he has got to be good for you because even the Bible says laughter is like medicine.

If I don't get an update soon, I'm gonna . . . wait, never mind. Too late.

I'll be rooftop with an automatic paintball gun. When I'm finished, every guy within a 400-foot radius is going home with the "Gorbachev Blotch."

Check CNN if you don't believe me. I'll be the guy they lead away in handcuffs.

Hello Again,
So glad to hear all the wonderful reports! Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving with your family.

Bethani, I am not sure how you feel about this but I have a dear friend who received a liver transplant about a year ago. I contacted him for permission to offer this family's support to you. He & his wife said they would be happy to talk with you & Brian and answer any questions you may have...from a receipiet's perspective because they have lived through it. (At the time of their child was only 2 years old) They are a wonderful family and could offer you much support. If you are interested in contacting them please e-mail me and I will give you their information. My e-mail is kaspacek@yahoo.com.

Much Love,
Katherine Spacek
