Recovery Report

Brian was able to spend time with her. Right now she is unable to take pain medication due to the new liver having to process the medication. Please pray that God will help relieve the pain and that the doctors will be able to medicate her soon. We are so thankful for what God is doing!

Bethani & Brian,
Cannot stop thinking about you 2! Bethani - if there is anyone who can understand suffering, surgery and pain it is definitely Danny and Brian if there is anyone who can understand long, anxious, sleepless nights in uncomfortable hospital chairs, its me. Hard to understand why on earth God allows these things to happen in life, but look at it this way - God will spend the rest of eternity making it up to you two. We love you 2 so much and this will be a testimony that will touch the lives of thousands. Keep your head up!

To all over there . . .

When you calculate the "shoulda happened's" against the "actually happened's," in this series of events, a never-ending series of miracles sit right at the surface: The psuedo-premonitional hunch of the primary doctor in Redding, The hitch-free, and almost instantaneous air-lift to San Francisco, the polar shift in the transplant list, along with what amounts to stunning, post-operative signs that you are already on the uptick.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I see God in this one, loud and clear . . .

Dearest Sister Bethani,
I never could have imagined this would be your experience, but what a testimony you have to share now!
I love you so much. You have touched more people than you will ever know during this trial. I don't know of one person in our church family who will ever be the same after this. The words "pray without ceasing" has never taken on a greater meaning, nor has it ever created such a bond among brethren.
Your mom told me that a song kept going through her mind over the past week, and I hope you will hold onto those words when things get tough, "He didn't bring me this far to fail me now!" God will always be faithful to you, and He loves you more than you'll ever know!

With continued prayer for your very bright future, I send all of my love to you and your family.

Bethani,

My eyes tear up when I think of how God is working on so many people through your testimony... Your friends who binded together in a desparate time have never had their faith lifted so high. Your family's emotions and cries for help, though on a roller coaster for the past week, are now more positive than ever before. The nurses, doctors and techs who heard of your situation and saw you come through are at least in shock, and better yet- are calling it a miracle. Churches all over the nation have been in prayer, and this situation has boosted their faith as well...

You will continue to tell this testimony for the rest of your life, Beth. Wow. And just to think- God chose you for it.

We will continue to pray for you, your recovery, your hubby, your beautiful baby boy, and your loving family.

We love you so much, Bethani. I've always respected and looked up to you; but I'm sure I'll say these words with a much different emphasis now: I love you, Bethani.

To Bethani and Family,

I have been holding you all up in constant prayer since I heard the news late Sat. evening. I've never met you personally, yet through Christ, we are family! The family of God is AWESOME!!!

There was an elder saint in our church that made this statement whenever he testified or got behind the pulpit, "God takes care of His regular customers!"

I'm praying for your quick recovery with no complications and also for a financial miracle!

Much love and prayers.

Bethani, Little Bethani. That's how I see you looking at me with those beautiful brown eyes, in your pretty, poofy, red dress while I'm up on a table being Goliath as your Sunday School teacher 17 years ago. It gives me joy to see you all grown up with your husband and little boy doing the work of God. I made my way to Redding Sunday morning so I could be with my home church and pray for your miracle with your home church family. While we were all deep in prayer, I was thanking God for you for always being an example for Karissa and Korena. They were able to look up to you and see a godly young lady who continued to live for God and not let go of the truth. Thank you sweetie. We will continue to pray for you and your family while rejoicing for your miracle. Kenny told me Sunday night that the entire Rock Church was praying for you. Chains of prayer has been prayed all over the nation! Bethani, Brian, Bro. and Sis. Bishop, Denise, Saprina and the rest of you, I love you all! Kim Horton
