Thanks and Update

Thank you so much for your concern, prayer, and words of encouragement! The strength that come from all of you is fabulous. God has been so good, and we know that He has His almighty hand upon Bethani! It is still a pure miracle that she had not only an acceptable liver, but a perfect liver for her in just one day.

Her recovery is progressing. Sometimes it seems very slow, but there is progress. Yesterday was one of those slower days. She was not able to eat at all. Her nausea is unbearable at times. Today had progress. Bethani ate a little of her lunch today. She is walking at least two times a day. Her spirit was up, and she had enough strength to talk on the phone to her sister (Denise Bobo). She is still short of breath due to the fluid on her lung, but her oxygen levels are normal. Thank you Jesus!

Continue to pray that the Lord will help with the nausea. That is a big hurdle at this time. Thanks again for everything!

We sit here wandering what to say that has not already been said.
We have not posted here yet however we read your blog continuously for updates, to keep tabs on how our much loved sister is doing. By reading we know that our love for you, is shared by many. Being a sappy person I cannot think of anything to say that is funny and will make you laugh. Although I wish that I could. It hurts very much to see your family go through this tribulation, however, we all know that God has you and your family in his hand. I stand on his words, that he will never leave us nor forsake us. We are very thankful for the miracles that he has already performed and those he is GOING to reveal.
You have a home in our family's heart and we hope that one day you will find yourself home once again. (Even if it is just to visit)

Gotcha back!

Tonight at church Isaac was trying so hard to be noticed as they asked for prayer requests. (Bro Dennis held him up to be seen.)When Bro Hurst called on him he said pray for my mom and Sister Befani (thats Bethani in Isaac terms). WE LOVE YOU and you are always on our prayers and in our thoughts. Hang in there. The lord is faithful and will never let you down.

To all:
Our God is NOT slow or slack. It's just that He stands in the place where there is no time. But he has not forgotten each of you.

I know you keep reading the same words over and over again..."We are praying for you" and we will keep saying those words because that is what we are all doing. And what better thing is there to do. All the other things we do are good, but getting in touch with our great God is at the top of the list. He cares and loves you and your sweet family and He is taking care of things right now. I have faith that you will come through this, and you will look back and say "WOW" what a God we serve....look what He brought me through. He is getting you ready for something big sweetie. He is going to use you and Brian in a mighty way. ....Oh wow !!! didn't know I was such a good preacher. LOL. Okay...got to go. Got to bake two of my chocolate cakes for the party. I'll make you one too when you will be able to eat it. LOL.
Luv u bunches. Tricia Opdyke

Bethani - you are going to have to do something. McDo's or somethin' girl. Now you got Jana givin' up chocolate!!! Wow Jana...you can fast and give up your chocolate. I'll eat and pray all the fat and calories to Bethani. She could have always used them, but now she NEEDS them. However, I dont think I could give up the chocolate for you girl. I love you and all...but.....well, I'm sure you understand. Prayin' for ya'll!! Love ya!! Sonia O (Flores)

Bethani,
It has been said that, "The richest people in the world are the ones that have the most things that money cannot buy." As I read the comments on your blog from friends and I think of your wonderful family I am convinced that you are a millionaire!
We were with "your sis" Denise & famiy in Carson City for a Christmas banquet this last Friday. Did anyone ever tell you that you have some REALLY cute neices & nephews? They are the BEST! Keep thinking of your blessings. You are surrounded by "perfect love" and this kind of love drives away ALL FEAR. Enjoy the peace & strength that comes from God.
Love & prayers,
