Hospital Report

Bethani has been resting more and more. She was dehydrated and one of her lungs is two-thirds filled with fluid, but she had no fever. The doctors at this point think the lung fluid will clear by itself. They can drain it if it is needed (God can drain it!) The ultrasound and x-ray on her liver was fine. Fluid is flowing through her liver. Last night she was able to keep her medications in her system. They are trying different meds for the nausea. The doctors want her to eat anything at this point. The more calories the better.

She has been very determined to get better. Even when she was nauseated she would still get up and walk. The doctors very strongly told her she needs to eat more to get more strength.

Bro Bishop is at home with Wyatt. Sis Bishop and Brian are at the hospital with Bethani. Thank you for your prayer for all of them. God's family is awesome! The support and prayer they are getting is beyond words.

Bethani~

When I heard you had been admitted to the hospital I was worried. But hearing this report puts me at ease. It sounds like the biggest problem is getting your nausea meds right so you can stay hydrated and eat. I pray they find the right medication and dosage. I love you and I'm thinking of you daily. Hang in there girl. There is another miraculous healing around the corner!

Sis. Bishop & Brian:
We are going to see the Glory of our Great God as He passes by the hospital in San Francisco.
I know because His Glory passed by me there earlier this year.
God best for each of you, including Brian;

Good girl Bethani!! Kick in that determination and feed that little tummy of yours even when your mind says you're not hungry.

Thank you for posting the pictures. It's great to look at that special beautiful couple that we've all been praying for.

Thank you so much for the update!

Thanks to whomever is updating the blog, for I know that is the last thing on your minds at this point.

I'm happy to hear that Bethani is improving. We're still praying and still believing God for her full recovery.

This no doubt is part of the road to recovery. As difficult as it is, you are in God hands and He is doing a great work. He knows where you are at and how you are feeling and He will bring you through with health and strength.

Bethani,
We are praying for you daily. Keep on walking and you'll walk right on out of that hospital. Brian, order out or something. Get that girl some good food. I've eaten hospital food too and I didn't like it either. We love you guys!

Bethani,
You can have my calories too. In fact you would be doing me a favor, that's for sure. We love you and are so happy to hear that the doctors are helping get your meds corrected. Please take care and know we are praying. Our family loves you.

Well, I have heard of donating blood before, but this is the first I've heard about donating calories. LOL I will join with Sis. Hopper and send you my calories, too. Guess that means I will be fasting. For you, Bethani, I would give up chocolate! I love you bunches and am continuing to pray for you.

We are praying for you all....Brian and Sis Bishop too. I'm so glad you have your sweet Mama with you. There is nothing like a Mom.

Oh, Bethani, if only I were there, I could totally help you with the calorie intake. But, here I sit in Ohio (freezing to death, I might add!) wishing I could do something. I just keep praying and trusting God to help you and Brian through this.

I am so grateful to whomever is keeping this blog updated. I'm not sure how intact my sanity would be without it.

Love,

Bethani,

Hang in there! You'll be home again soon! Just eat, eat, and eat again! It's hard to eat when you feel so nauseated...so, hopefully they get that under control for you soon so you can enjoy eating again! Hope your package made it there ok.

Love you,
