A nitetime talk.

Dear friends,

Well it is currently 10 pm Wed. night and I am about to start my 5 night treatment for rejection. I have been surprisingly positive today. I thought today would be one of the hardest days for me but God has sustained me through distractions such as getting to see my little Wyatt this evening for the first time in 5 days. I fed him sweet potatoes, and tonight was the first time he said "DADA" in front of all of us. It felt so good not to miss out on a special moment like that. Being away from Wyatt has been harder on Brian and I than we realized cause we can now see that he misses us. But I have a Goal everyone....5 nights of intense treatment and then it looks like possibly home sweet home. Pray for us to get through this next 5 nights and 5days. They say there could be a lot of flu like symptoms so they have given me Tylenol, and Benedryl 30 min before my treatment just to help... but then again most people get through it just fine. So i guess we shall see. I feel so close to each one of you its almost strange, hearing from so many of you I have not seen or heard from in years. But just knowing you are there and you are praying is doing more than you could ever realize for me and my whole family... So remember I am shooting for being home for Christmas. That's one of our prayer goals ok, well I gotta start the treatment. I love all of you and your comments are still holding me up so please continue.

I Love all of you,

Bethani Roam

PS. Sis. "P" Please don't stop doing what your doing for me.

How wonderful to read a note by you, Bethani! Tonight at church we had focused prayer for you, and some people came up afterwards and told me that they wanted to continue praying for you so they want me to keep them updated. So just know that there are numerous people here in Hawaii that are bombarding Heaven on your behalf! Love you...SoShawna Gray

Dear Bethani,

I will pray specifically that you complete this treatment with minimal side effects, and get to go HOME for Christmas with your guys.

Thanks so much for the update. Hang in there - this too shall pass.

Bethani and Brian,
It is so good to hear from you. Keep being brave, and get yourselves home for Christmas!
May God put a hedge around you like He did Job. And may He take joy and pride in your strength, faith, and courage at a time when it matters most.
Merry Christmas!

Bethani - I am glad you had a "positive" day in spite of yucky treatment. We are continuing to pray for you and hope you do get to go home for Christmas. Since Christmas is so close, we will let Santa know that he needs to check the hospital if you aren't home. Either way, Santa won't forget you. You said it is a five day treatment. Does this mean you will finish the regimen Sunday or Monday? I hope the nausea subsides, the treatment is successful, and you have a blessed Christmas with your little man Wyatt. You and Brian deserve the best. I love you!
P.S. If you feel up to it, the next time you are online click on my name and you can see new pics of my kids at my blog. www.janaallard.blogspot.com Maybe it will keep your mind distracted from the treatment and its side effects. I pray the side effects are minimal or none at all.

Hi Bethani,

I just wanted to check in and let you know that our family and our church is still praying for you. I love you very much and miss you! Ive wanted to post on here and let you know Im thinking of you but Ive been going through my own little trial with Kyla being sick and havent had a second. So the minute I got some free time I decided to sit down and send you a note to let you know I love you and Im praying for you constantly. Like Ive said before we've seen God's healing power in Kyla's life several times and so I know first hand that he can and will do it for you. Im glad you got to spend some time with Wyatt today. That's one lucky little guy to have parents as awesome as you and Brian. We love you guys! Can't wait to see you!

Good morning, Bethani

Not only is it wonderful when God miraculously heals a body, but that He gives man the knowledge and skills to help someone through such a situation as yours is a distinct blessing. The gifts and intellect your doctors possess is only because of God's love for humanity.

We're still praying for you here in Lake Havasu, and several times a day I check the internet to see if there is an update.

I love your mom and dad and pray God's strength for them also...and of course for your husband. Little Wyatt? Sounds as though he's in good hands, and he won't remember a thing about this time of being separated from his parents.

Bless all of you.

Sweet sweet Bethani: You are such a trooper. Our prayers are reaching heaven for sure. Oh...and WOW !!!! I felt the spirit of God when I read Sis. P's prayer for you and the family. What a dynamite prayer. It's right on target. That is my prayer for you all too. So sweetie...go into those treatments with knowing God has his arms wrapped around you.
I'm so very happy about little Wyatt showing off in front of you all...Dada !!! And what sweet words that is...our Dada (Father) in heaven is watching over you. And he cares about you just like you care about little Wyatt. We love and take care of our children and that is how God feels about us. Call His sweet name..JESUS..just like our children call to us when they need us. Jesus loves it that you are calling to Him and depending on Him. He wants to show His power in all this. He has and will do more. There will be sweet Victory soon. I'm praying that you will get your wish of being home for Christmas. I love you and your sweet family. It was so good to read something from you. Keep on keeping on. Luv u bunches.

We will never really understand or grasp some of the happens in our lives until we reach that eternal city.
There are two portions of David in or from the Psalms. One is, “Oh Lord bow down tine ear, for I am poor and needy.” The second is a conformation that The Lord did, bow down His ear to David, “This poor man cried out and the Lord heard.” Our wonderful God is hearing your prayers and he will respond to our request of Him.
You are in our daily prayer;

Hi Bethani & Brian!
Just want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers every day. Also, Grace Naranjo asked me to tell you hello from their family. Her mother received a liver transplant a few years ago and she is doing great. She had some of the same problems you are having but everything smoothed out and she is not having any complications and living a great life. Keep you heads up!! I will believe with you for Christmas.
Love you so much!!

The first thing I did was jump onto your site! :) You are not forgotten- we are all still praying for you. Little Wyatt, is so cute! Jake was getting over a cold before we left, but maybe in the next couple of days Robin can bring Wyatt over and they can play.

Bethani, all of us at my job are praying for you. This has touched our hearts in more ways than you can imagine. There is also a little 5 month old baby girl who they just found out had 5 brain tumors. All cancer. Her future looks very bad. The parents haven't decided what treatment to choose, cause any of them are horrible for the baby. So we pray for you and her everyday.

WE love you even though we hardly know you.

Tell Brian that Eddie and I are holding him up in prayer as well.

Love you. Barb Burlison

God's grace is amazing. One doesn't realize just what it is or means until one suffers great need. During my battle with cancer in 2004, it seemed at times that I was securely wrapped in a blanket of God's peace. No matter how bad the news was or how endless the medical procedures were, God kept me safe. Bethani, God is keeping you, He is holding you securely in His strong arms just as you would comfort Wyatt.
We are praying daily for you.

Hi Bethani!

Its very good to see you posting youself! I wanted to let you know that you are on my mind day and night since I heard about your situation. You know I had a serious illness in 2004 and although its completely different than yours, I too had to go through various treatments with obnoxious side effects, God brought me through it and gave me strength and peace beyond measure. My 1st treatment was awful and I prayed for God's help and every treatment thereafter was miraculously painless and without the terrible side effects.

Its amazing how the family of God binds together to pour love out when one is facing troublesome times.
I know you can feel the uplifting prayers and the support from your friends and family.

I am still praying for your complete recovery!

I love you and hope to see you sometime soon!
