Somthing Very Special

Dear friends,

God has sent me a gift. Jordan Shortino. He passed away on November 10th 2007. Jordan was a donor and I was blessed to receive his liver. He saved my life. Recently, I was blessed to receive a phone call from a sweet lady named Nancy. She was Jordan's mom. Two weeks ago I met with Nancy and Bobs at there home. They are wonderful people. They were so kind to Brian, Wyatt and I. We had a wonderful visit. I could never express enough with words what they mean to me and my family. We are forever thankful. I wish I could have met Jordan. He was an amazing person.
Thank you Jordan.

Bethani - What an awesome generous gift this family has given you! I admire and respect their decision and I know it must have been an emotional time you must have had at your meeting!

Blessings to you, Brian & Wyatt!

How special - and what gracious, wonderful parents to let you be privileged to share their lives with you and your family. Certainly it was emotional, but knowing about Jordan would definitely bring a calm too.

Oh, Bethani! What an incredible story. I'm sure this was an emotional visit and somewhat bittersweet for the parents but what wonderful people to give you the chance to live. Blessings on Jordan's family and may peace be found for them in the loss of their beloved son.

I am an editor for Christian.com which is a social network dedicated to the christian community. As I look through your web site I feel a collaboration is at hand. I would be inclined to acknowledge your website offering it to our users as I'm sure our Pentecostal audience would benefit from what your site has to offer. I look forward to your thoughts or questions regarding the matter.

I love your blog's design! I just started one myself for our church's website. I'm kind of new to blogging though so I'm checking out other Christian blogs to get some inspiration for design and content. Feel free to check our new blog at our church in Bellevue

Would love to know what you think!

Hello Bethani! I'm an old classmate of Jordan's. I was randomly thinking about him tonight, and stumbled upon your blog in the process. It was SO amazing to me to hear this story! Jordan was always such a giving person, and it doesn't surprise me in the least that even in death, he's still so generous.
